Dandruff Cures

Here is a great link on using honey for treating dandruff, sent by one of our members:

I have long felt that honey is a very helpful substance for the hair and scalp.  I add it to my shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis, and it makes my hair feel wonderfully clean afterward.  I add about 1 Tablespoon honey to a batch of shampoo--check out the Really Natural Shampoo recipe here:

I also make my own Hair Conditioner, and honey is one of the ingredients.  Check it out here:

We would love to hear from you if you are using honey for dandruff; please share your results...

  1. Here is an updated version of the shampoo and conditioner recipes that Michael is currently using.

    Shampoo
I make up a batch of this recipe for Really Natural Shampoo, using soap nuts:

Then I add 2 to 3 Tablespoons of our natural shampoo base here:

http://whitesagelanding.net/our-shop/naturally-sourced-products/bulk-natural-shampoo-base and shake well to blend.

    Conditioner
I make one recipe of our Really Natural Conditioner here:

    http://whitesagelanding.net/foods-recipes/really-natural-conditioner
and mix together equal parts of this with our natural conditioner base, here:

This combination seems to meet Michael's requirement for a "smooth and silky feel" that my Really Natural recipe alone does not give him. If you are searching for a healthier shampoo and conditioner, give them a try. I would love to hear about your variations and feedback!
